The Future Heavies play The Beastie Boys "Licensed to Ill" The Main Pub 306 Main Street Manchester, CT 06040 860-647-1551 http://www.mainpub.com "The Future Heavies" will cover all of The Beastie Boys "Licensed to Ill" album in celebration of the 30th anniversary of its release in November 1986, and in memory of MCA who passed away in May 2012.
"The Future Heavies" will be joined by David M. Johnson Jr. (as "Mike D") and drummer Jacob Graham to perform "Licensed to Ill," in addition to other special guests to be announced. Matthew James will perform as "MCA," and Andy Chatfield will perform as "King Ad-Rock."
In addition to "Licensed to Ill," The Future Heavies will perform two one hour sets of best in new wave, pop, R&B, dance, and rock from the 1980s. Sarah LeMieux will be subbing for vocalist Alice-Anne Harwood Sherrill.
The Future Heavies made their New Haven debut at Stella Blues for "Back to the Future" Day on October 21, 2015. That morning, drummer Andy Chatfield
appeared on WTNH's "CT Style" during the What's Brewing segment with hosts Teresa Dufour and Ryan Kristafer in costume as Marty McFly (segment starts at 2:10):
