Sarah LeMieux  is a torch heartbreaker whose original quintet won the "Best Jazz" category in the Connecticut Music Awards three years in a row (2016, 2015, 2014). She has performed with drummer Andy Chatfield since July 2015, covering entire albums by Led Zeppelin (I, II, III, Physical Graffiti, and Presence) and The Beatles (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road) as well as subbing on vocals and guitar with "New England's #1 '80s Band" The Future Heavies in 2017.  They have also performed original music in the Castlefield Trio since March 2017, and recorded the quartet album Jazz for the End of the World released in March 2020.

Sarah LeMieux's "Jazz for the End of the World" will perform a free concert as part of the 20th season of the Hartford Public Library's highly-popular Baby Grand Jazz Series, which since 2004 has featured a spectacular lineup of sixteen of the best jazz music groups in the region, who are selected for their innovation, musicality, performance quality, and cultural tradition. The concert will take place in person in the Center for Contemporary Culture and will also be livestreamed to Facebook and YouTube. Seating is first come, first seated, starting at 2pm. No registration required.
