"The Usual Lebowskis" are perfect for a summer evening concert. Since June 2020, "The Usual Lebowskis" have performed for over 4,000 people as part of the summer concert series in Groton, Farmington, Killingly, Manchester, Monroe, Morris, and Newington. 

Three of the members of "The Usual Lebowskis" also cover the best in new wave, pop, R&B, dance, and rock from the 1980s as part of The Future Heavies. In 2024, 2023, and 2022, an all-star band featuring members of both The Future Heavies and The Usual Lebowskis performed the best pop, rock, and soul music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s as they headlined the All-Campus Tent Party on Andrus Field in Middletown, Connecticut as part of Wesleyan University's Reunion and Commencement Weekend.  The celebration with classmates, graduating seniors, families, and alumni takes place the night before Wesleyan's Commencement Ceremony. In August 2023, "The Usual Lebowskis" performed all of U2's seventh studio album "Achtung Baby" in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Zoo TV Tour as part of the Newington Parks and Recreation Department's Edythe and Harry Mandell Concert Series. Special guest vocalist  Sarah LeMieux sang lead vocals on the “Achtung Baby” tunes, and the group was also joined for the performance by percussionist Brendan LeMieux. 

"The Usual Lebowskis" are fun, professional, danceable, and affordable for festivals, outdoor events, fairs, reunions, special occasions, and audiences of all ages. The band features two lead vocalists, guitars, trumpet, keyboards, bass, and drums, with members from Hamden,  Middletown, Monroe, Plantsville, Portland, and Wallingford:

New England's #1 '90s Band "The Usual Lebowskis" will debut in Manchester as they perform as part of an epic free kick-off party to start the Manchester Public Library's Adult Summer Reading program.

"The Usual Lebowskis" cover the best in alternative/indie, grunge, folk rock, jamband, pop, and rock from the 1990s. The band will serenade the audience with tunes by Alanis Morissette, The Breeders, Cake, The Cranberries, Green Day, James, Nirvana, Oasis, Pearl Jam, The Proclaimers, Radiohead, R.E.M., and Stone Temple Pilots.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on if the weather is nice outside. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors.

Create '90s-inspired resin earrings and beaded safety pins, play '90s trivia, and enjoy some '90s themed snacks.

Hear the best pop, rock, and soul music from the ‘70s, '80s, and '90s in one night under the tent on Andrus Field with a nine-piece all-star band featuring members from both "The Future Heavies" and "The Usual Lebowskis.” The group is led by drummer Andrew Chatfield MALS '19 and includes lead vocalists Wendy Berry and Sarah LeMieux, saxophonist and guitarist Dustin Kreidler, bassist Derek Monahan, lead guitarist Aaron Read, keyboard player David Lovelace, percussionist Brendan LeMieux, and Chris Barrett on trumpet and percussion. The group will be joined by guest vocalist Randy Frisch '84 for a '60s R&B tune.

The performance will be followed by a DJ set by Mario Torres. A cash bar will be available (cash or Venmo). Bring a photo ID. No outside alcohol permitted.

Per COVID-19 campus visitor guidelines, all guests at Wesleyan's 190th Commencement Ceremony must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. “Fully vaccinated” means receiving a booster shot within 30 days of CDC eligibility. Following current CDC and Connecticut Department of Public Health Guidelines, and with everyone’s safety in mind, plans are subject to change if conditions necessitate. 32nd annual Monroe Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series

"The Usual Lebowskis" will cover the best in alternative/indie, grunge, folk rock, jamband, pop, and rock from the 1990s during their first performance in Monroe.

Bring a blanket, your chairs, and your friends and family to enjoy an evening under the stars.

Due to state COVID-19 restrictions, the following changes will be implemented this season:

The concert is free, however reservations will be required. A maximum of six people will be allowed per reservation. Reservations will open the Monday morning before the concert at 8am and run through 1pm on the day of the show. The maximum number of people allowed in the concert area will be 450. The 450 available reservations for this concert have sold out as of 7:50am on Friday. If you have a reservation and no longer will be coming please let the Monroe Parks and Recreation office know by 1pm so they may give your reservation to someone on the waiting list.

Markings have been placed in the grass area to ensure required social distancing between groups. Check in for the concert will begin at 6:30pm. Concert begins at 7:30pm. In the event of inclement weather, please call 203-339-6106 after 3pm. Romeo’s at Wolfe Park will be open for food purchases.

Groton Utilities and City of Groton Summer Concerts in the Park

The viewing area in Washington Park will be marked off with 15 foot-sized boxes in which attendees can sit to enjoy the show. Each box will be separated from each other by empty spaces of equal size. Face masks must be worn whenever you are not in your box – meaning walking to and from your vehicle, the restrooms, or any other destination. Stay with your cohort. Please arrive with your group and do not intermingle with other groups. This is a vital part of efforts to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Concert is free to the public. Food trucks will be on site beginning at least 30 minutes prior to the performance. Q105 (WQGN) FM will have a presence at the show as well.

Celebrate the beginning of summer! "The Usual Lebowskis" make their debut, performing for the first time to kick off the Town of Morris 2020 summer concert series at the beautiful Morris Town Beach Pavilion on Bantam Lake.

"The Usual Lebowskis" will play from 7pm to 8:30pm featuring the best in alternative/indie, grunge, folk rock, jamband, pop, and rock from the 1990s. "The Usual Lebowskis" cover tunes by 4 Non Blondes, Alanis Morissette, Alannah Myles, Ani Difranco, The Beastie Boys, The Breeders, Cake, The Cranberries, Eagle Eye Cherry, Green Day, James, Lenny Kravitz, Nirvana, Oasis, Pearl Jam, The Proclaimers, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., The Smashing Pumpkins, and Stone Temple Pilots.

Bring the family and enjoy live music from a safe social distance. As per the State of Connecticut's Phase Two reopening plan, outdoor gatherings are limited to 100 people. To comply with this Executive Order, 100 free tickets for this concert are available for seating on the lawn in front of the Morris Town Beach Pavilion via eventbrite.com. Spaces will be marked to encourage guests to sit a socially safe distance from one another. Please wear a mask / cloth face covering whenever you leave your seating area. In order to follow State guidelines: "When in public and a six-foot distance is unavoidable, face coverings are required to be worn." Please stay within your small group during your visit.

After the 100 free tickets are sold out for lawn seating, all others will be welcome to enjoy the concert from the comfort of their vehicles in the Morris Town Beach parking area. Parking permits are not required for any town sponsored event.

Please pack any food / beverage you'd like to enjoy and have a picnic with your small group, either on the lawn for ticket holders, or in your vehicle for non-ticket holders.
